3月16日 The Green Man Theory and stuff that sprung from the green man theory ...Wel I never knew until today that such random stuff could spring from good observation. After school today I went into town with Geraldine to take some photos for our Geography coursework and I was crosssing the crossing near JD Sports. I alweys hate crossing that road coz there is cars coming from every direction so I alweys wait for the green man on that crossing. I was looking at the people who choose to cross the road without the green man and I thought to myself how stupid. They risk their whole lives just to get sumwhere 30 seconds quicker. They have their whole life ahead of them and they dont even seem to think about it; they just think about gettin across the road. If you wait for the green man in everything in ure life then you will have less chance of getting killed and more chance of getting where you want to get in one piece.
I also realised today that we have to rise above people that make us feel bad about ourselves and not be dragged down by their harsh words. Its hard to stand above people like that , really hard, but when you do you realise what a great person you really are. There is nothing wrong with being the person you are. Other people might not like it but its you and in reality you are great. I once read that you can never be truely happy until you know what makes you happy and you're not afraid to be yourself. And if you believe you will find happiness and find yourself then no-one can ever take away your beliefs. No-one can change what makes you who you are.
Sometimes I just wish people would think before they open their mouths and say something that hurts people. Maybe people dont think about what their saying coz they hate the said person that they're talking too and want to hurt them. Or maybe its more jealousy than hate; another article I read said that you can only hate people you are jealous of. And thats kind of weird coz sumtimes u dont think that ure jealous of sumone you hate do you? But hate stems from various different emotions inc. jealousy, hurt, suffering etc. Hate is complex and the reasons why hate happens is complex. By you always have to remember that whatever happens you alweys have friends.
And all that sprung from my green man theory ...
