To think that you understood,
And to dream that you would save me.
But no, just another fake,
I thought I could trust you.

My dreams were high,
As if to be expected and happen.
But crushed, with a few words,
Never to happen.

And as Im thinking,
I start to cry tears of hurt.
Cuts and bruises heal quick,
But not my memories, they last.

I am sitting in a dark corner,
No one to help or understand.
I take a moment and reflect,
Is it worth it, what's the point?

Life: it hasn't worked out,
Not how I wanted it to be.
Full of disappointments and sadness,
Eating away at the once sanity of my mind.

I have life problems that hurt,
And I can't get rid of them.
Because they are deep scars,
That will stay with me forever.

And now I'm stuck,

Someone caught me offguard.

Some people give to make others happy and try too hard to make people like them

Some people have arguments with others because they like to be in control

Some people pretend to be happy all the time so they don't have to be sad

Some people make stupid mistakes and are too proud to admit it to themselves, no matter what they say to others

Some people make out to themselves that they have problems just so they can fit in

Some people act all the time and tell lies because they are scared to be the person they really are, but hate the person they pretend to be

Some people continually justify themselves to others to make their behaviour seem ok

Some people convince themselves of one thing because they are scared to realise the other

Some people hide behind a façade that isnt them
